Another new feature in AVG 2012 product update is Do not track. The feature lets AVG users know when data is collected by any website. It basically provides a way to block ad sites, social networks and analytics scripts from your browser to protect your privacy.

- Better threat detection algorithm.
AVG LinkScanner which is now replaced by AVG Secure Search comes bundled as a part of the latest AVG Antivirus Free edition. The tool optionally changes the search provider and default homepage of your browser. If you don’t want that to happen, you can select the custom install option and exclude the tool.
